Bathroom Remodel Inspiration

I wanted to share my bathroom remodel inspiration with you. Finally, I have a new remodeled bathroom! We went from 20 year old bachelor bathroom to a modern mini spa (very, very mini 🙂 ). I started planning this bathroom more than a year ago and frankly I’m glad it took a long time because my original vision was already dated. I thought I wanted a grey and white bathroom – think grey marble, but at a tile price. We had picked a few things out and almost moved forward with a contractor. But life got in the way, I put the project on hold.

In January of 2020, I chose to leave my job -not knowing the pandemic was about to explode and limit my future job opportunities. So, I decided to focus on getting our bathroom remodeled pronto so we could enjoy it a bit before we decide to move out of the area. I got on Pinterest and starting pinning my bathroom inspiration and a theme began to emerge. Black tile floors and white tile walls with accents of wood and sea glass. White and black are such classic and timeless choices especially when using subway tile. The addition of wood tones and sea glass green add a spa like vibe and warm up the space.

Check out the before photos and some of my inspiration below.

We gutted everything – down to the studs! Here’s what our bathroom looked like before the remodel.
